How the Crypto ROI Calculator Works

Enter the cryptocurrency, the amount you originally invested, the current or selling value of your holdings and any estimated trading fees or other costs. The calculator subtracts the investment and costs from the current value to estimate your net result and then expresses that result as a percentage of the original investment.

Net Profit / Loss = Current Value − Initial Investment − Total Fees & Costs.

ROI = (Net Profit / Initial Investment) × 100.

Understanding Crypto ROI

ROI, or return on investment, shows how much an investment has gained or lost relative to the amount originally invested. A positive percentage indicates a calculated gain, while a negative percentage indicates a calculated loss. Including fees and other costs can give you a more realistic estimate of your net return.

Why Use a Crypto ROI Calculator?

A crypto ROI calculator helps investors compare potential returns, review the effect of trading costs and quickly understand the percentage gain or loss on a cryptocurrency investment. It can be useful when evaluating a completed trade or reviewing a planned investment.
